Background
I am the youngest of three siblings, with two older sisters. Additionally, I have recently become an uncle, courtesy of my eldest sister, Ashley. I was raised a Hispanic household, with my mother hailing from the Dominican Republic and my father from Peru. Lastly, our family includes Luna, the family dog, a poodle and schnauzer mix.
I will always carry the value family highly and I deeply appreciate the support and influence they have provided in my life.
Interests
Chess is a game I have played for a long time. My dad first taught me the game when I was 11 years old. Unfortunately, I am not a prodigy, but I like to consider myself above average compared to your typical player. I even managed to convince my father to download chess.com, and we play against each other from time to time. On the left is a clip of a knight sacrifice and pinned rook checkmate. Whenever I play a cool endgame like this I like to share it to record it and send it to my dad.
Swimming was the sport I grew up with. I swam since I was four years old and I have a dozens of ribbons and a bag or two of swim gear to show for it. When COVID hit, I had to stop but I still swim on occasion to keep my skills sharp. Now adays I mainly go to the gym to lift weights and play pickleball.
